Job Description: Petroleum Engineer

We are looking for a dedicated and motivated Petroleum Engineer to join our team at Royal Dutch Shell. The successful candidate will be responsible for optimizing oil and gas extraction processes, analyzing reservoir performance, and implementing innovative drilling and production techniques.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct reservoir evaluations and optimize hydrocarbon recovery strategies.

• Design and oversee drilling, completion, and production operations.

• Analyze geological and engineering data to enhance extraction efficiency.

• Implement enhanced oil recovery (EOR) techniques to maximize output.

• Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations.

• Collaborate with geoscientists and production teams to improve field performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in oil and gas exploration and production.

• Strong knowledge of reservoir engineering, drilling, and production technologies.

Skills

• Proficiency in reservoir simulation and modeling software (e.g., Eclipse, Petrel).

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Knowledge of well logging, pressure transient analysis, and artificial lift techniques.

• Experience with safety and environmental regulations in the oil & gas industry.

• Ability to work in a cross-functional team and manage projects efficiently.
